What is your false alarm policy?
We offer unlimited phone support for falsely sounding alarms with on-site visits as required. We carry out warranty work for EMERALD, CAVIUS, PSA, CLIPSAL, MATELEC and RED alarms inc. alarms installed by 3rd parties.
If, for whatever reason, we cannot complete the warranty work the property manager / landlord may need to refer to original installer or Coast Smoke Alarms can replace these alarms for an additional cost.
Do you do warranty work for 3rd party installs?
Yes, we do warranty work for: Cavius, Emerald, Red, Matelec, PSA & Clipsal.
Where are you based and what areas do you cover?
Our office is at 109 Maud Street Maroochydore. We cover the whole of the Sunshine Coast including North Brisbane and Gympie.
What types of alarms do you use?
We install Red Professional, Cavius, Clipsal and Emerald Alarms and cover warranty work for most major brands such as Matalec and PSA.
What insurance do you have?
We have Public and Product Liability insurance up to $10 million and Professional Indemnity insurance up to $5 million, ensuring full coverage and protection for our services.
Do you have an out-of-hours service?
We do not have an out-of-hours service. However, we do direct out-of-hours callers to our false alarm walkthrough videos on our website. We have found that these videos help the majority of callers until we reopen.
What are your opening hours?
Our office hours are Monday to Thursday from 9 AM to 5 PM and Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM. However, our electricians are available for home visits starting from 8 AM.
